Expectations-How to get the BEST Massage!

Expectations. Everyone has them. My goal is to make your session as comfortable, relaxing, energizing, therapeutic as you expect it to be. Here are a few tips on what I can change for you in a session.

Room Temperature:  If the room is too cold, I will turn up the heat. If you feel like you are in a sweatlodge, I can lower the table warmer.

Oils,Lotions and Scents:  If you feel like I am pulling your skin, I can use more oil. If I ask you if you like a certain scent, be truthful. I have many to choose from. The scent should enhance your experience, and not make you feel uncomfortable.

Pressure:  If I am using too much pressure PLEASE let me know. I can always change my technique. While there is a certain amount of discomfort in releasing muscles occasionally, I do not want you to feel as if you are visiting a torture chamber! If I am going too light on a certain area, and you feel like with a deeper pressure, we could achieve a better response, just let me know. While I do have a sense of your muscles as I work on them, only you can tell me how it feels.

Music: What if the music I am playing is driving you bonkers, and the little bird chirping actually drives you batty, or the "calming waves" make you feel anxious instead? No problem! I love music, and feel it is integral to your experience to make sure your ears are satisfied as well. Let me know what types of music that you would like to hear. Maybe you might even like perfect silence!

Your massage is a creation, your creation. And the best way to make a great massage happen, is to communicate with me on your likes and dislikes. The greatest tip you can give to me, is your feedback. I am open and willing to accept all of your feedback, as it helps me to be a better therapist for you. And frankly, isn't that what you would want to spend your hard earned money on?
